Trump’s original AG pick posts bikini photo to mock new sex-trafficking accusers
Atlanta, Georgia, USA - 4th Nov, 2024. Matt Gaetz, et medlem af 118. kongres, afsoner sin fjerde periode i Repræsentanternes Hus ved et JD Vance-stævne dagen før sejren.

He later admitted he is not even sure the photo shows his accusers.

Two women have filed an explosive federal lawsuit against former Florida lawmaker Matt Gaetz.

The 33-page civil complaint, reported by the Miami Herald, accuses the former congressman and two close allies of running a sex-trafficking ring fueled by illegal drugs between 2017 and 2019.

Matt Gaetz was President Donald Trump’s original pick for attorney general and a close personal confidant of Trump, before he had to resign from Congress in 2024 because of an internal ethics inquiry over alleged sexual misconduct.

Serious legal claims

The filing describes how former county tax collector Joel Greenberg recruited the accusers online when they were young and broke.

Greenberg is currently serving an 11-year prison term for sex trafficking a minor. After meeting the women, he introduced them to Gaetz and former state politician Christopher Dorworth, with the group allegedly paying for trips to Miami, New York, and Las Vegas.

According to the suit, Gaetz sent the women thousands of dollars with casual Venmo memos like “Being my friend” and “Love you.” One plaintiff also claims she watched Gaetz have sex with a 17-year-old girl. The allegations echo the damning congressional ethics report back in 2024 that ultimately wrecked his nomination for U.S. attorney general.

Gaetz tries to dox his accusers

Gaetz refused to stay silent. Instead, he took to social media to push back against the legal filing. There, he posted a photo of three women in swimwear to unmask his accusers and dox them.

Under the photo, Gaetz wrote: “Jane Doe Strikes Again! Two adult women sued me today alleging they were sex trafficked to the Bahamas. I’m shocked nobody responded to their repeated cries for help, posted to Instagram.”

Yet he later admitted to the Miami Herald reporter, Julie Brown, that he was not even sure the picture showed either woman. Julie Brown is also the Pulitzer-winning journalist who helped uncover the Jeffrey Epstein pedophile scandal in which she exposed Epstein’s secret plea deal in 2008 and a widespread sex-trafficking network.

In an official statement, Gaetz insisted the claims were completely false. “I look forward to taking the plaintiffs’ depositions because much of the conduct alleged against me is false,” he stated.

Plaintiffs’ attorney Spencer Kuvin fired back, declaring that he eagerly awaits questioning Gaetz under oath and “taking his deposition under oath where he will be under penalty of perjury — which the committee wasn’t able to do.”
