Just a few minutes ago, the US House of Representatives voted on a historically large aid package for Ukraine, prompting a reaction from the Kremlin.

The House of Representatives approved a new aid package for Ukraine worth approximately $61 billion.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has already expressed his heartfelt thanks to the USA, and now it is Russia's turn to respond.

The Kremlin reacted to the significant vote in the US House of Representatives.

"The decision to provide assistance to Ukraine was expected and predictable. It will further enrich the United States and further ruin Ukraine, causing more Ukrainian deaths due to the regime in Kiev," commented Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov to the TASS news agency.

On the same occasion, Dmitry Peskov stated that the USA must now account for the confiscated Russian funds. Russia will not look kindly upon it if Russian money is being sent to Ukraine to be used against Russia itself.

"The US will have to answer for the confiscation of frozen Russian Federation assets." Peskov added.
