Trade deal to be annonced

During the night, it was revealed tha Donald Trump would present a trade deal torday with an unnamed country, Thursday – but according to several medias, we actually do know the country.

Yes, it’s the UK

According to Sky News and New York Times, the unnamed country is the United Kingdom, apparantly being confirmed by sources in Downing Street.

First since Liberation Day

No matter if the trade deal really is with the UK, it is still a historic announcement, as it’s the first finished trade deal between the U.S. and another country to be announced since Donald Trumps sweeping tariffs.

It would be an understatement to call the trade deal af victory for UK Prime Minister, Keir Starmer. Ever since Brexit, the UK and the U.S. have been negotiating a trade deal, and according to reports, the UK was further down the que for a trade deal with countries like Japan in front.

Trump himself has also teased for a big announcement coming thursday, but we’ll have to wait a bit. The trade deal is set to be officially announced at 3 PM GMT. Hobefully, we’ll get more information on what the deal actually contains.
