Ukraine’s air defense forces successfully shot down all 11 Shahed-type attack drones launched by Russia overnight on August 20, according to the Ukrainian Air Force.

The drones were reportedly launched from Kursk Oblast and Primorsko-Akhtarsk in Russia’s Krasnodar Krai.

Mobile fire groups from the Ukrainian Air Force were deployed to counter the air attacks, shooting down the drones over multiple regions, including Mykolaiv, Cherkasy, Vinnytsia, Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Sumy, and Donetsk oblasts.

The Air Force issued warnings throughout the night about the threat of drone attacks in various regions across the country.
