His controversial political stances and perceived alignment with far-right ideologies have drawn criticism from various corners.
One recent protest, however, turned a lot more heads than usual, involving a 98-year-old veteran, a World War II tank, and a very unfortunate Tesla.
A Sherman Tank, a Tesla, and a Message from the Past
British Army veteran Ken Turner, now 98 years old, decided to send a loud and clear message to Elon Musk by driving a Sherman tank, a symbol of the Allied fight against fascism, straight over a Tesla.
The Tesla’s license plate read “FASCISM,” making the symbolism crystal clear.

In the video he shared online, Turner declared:
“I’m old enough to have seen fascism the first time, and now it’s coming back,” just before rolling over the car.
“We’ve Crushed Fascism Before”
The stunt was organized and shared by “Led by Donkeys,” a British political group known for its anti-Brexit and anti-Conservative activism.
In the video’s description, they criticized Musk for using his wealth and influence to support far-right movements in Europe, referencing both his backing of the AfD party in Germany and his appearance at Donald Trump’s second inauguration ceremony.
“We’ve crushed fascism before and we’ll do it again,” the group stated, framing the act as a bold stand against growing extremism, and against Musk’s role in it.
