The deal, which includes add-ons, is expected to be completed within 24 hours.
Five-Year Contract Agreed
The 27-year-old Sweden international has already agreed to a five-year contract with the Gunners. Barring any late hitches, he’ll join Arsenal in time for their pre-season tour of Asia later this week according to BBC Sport.
Sporting President Confirms Disciplinary Action
Sporting Lisbon’s president, Frederico Varandas, confirmed that Gyokeres is facing disciplinary measures for missing pre-season training.
He stated firmly that “no one is above the interests of the club.”
