With Arsenal preparing for a critical 2025-26 campaign, attention is now turning to potential outgoings as much as incoming transfers. While the focus has been on new signings such as Martin Zubimendi, Benjamin Sesko and Viktor Gyokeres, several current squad members are expected to leave the Emirates this summer.

Zinchenko Slips Down the Pecking Order

Oleksandr Zinchenko appears likely to move on after losing his starting place at left-back. The Ukrainian was a peripheral figure last season and now finds himself behind Myles Lewis-Skelly, Riccardo Calafiori and Jurrien Timber in the squad hierarchy. Borussia Dortmund have been linked with a move for the 28-year-old.

Bayern Monitoring Martinelli Situation

Gabriel Martinelli could also be heading for the exit. The Brazilian endured an inconsistent campaign and has attracted interest from Bayern Munich, who are seeking to replace Leroy Sane. Valued at around £47million, Martinelli’s sale could help fund a major move for a new left-sided attacker.

Hein and Vieira Likely to Move Permanently

Goalkeeper Karl Hein enjoyed a strong loan spell at Real Valladolid but is unlikely to displace David Raya at Arsenal. With Kepa Arrizabalaga potentially joining, Hein may opt for a permanent move in search of regular football.

Fabio Vieira is also expected to depart after returning to Porto on loan last season, where he recorded five goals and five assists. The midfielder has struggled to find consistency in north London and looks set for a fresh start elsewhere.

Lokonga’s Arsenal Career Nearing Its End

Albert Sambi Lokonga’s future is also unresolved. Sevilla will not activate the £10million option to sign him permanently, but the Belgian is still hoping for a transfer to the Spanish side at a reduced fee. Arsenal are now looking for alternative buyers as they try to finalise his exit.

Nelson Set for Decision After Injury-Hit Loan

Reiss Nelson is another name likely to move. The winger’s loan spell at Fulham was marred by injury, limiting him to just 13 appearances. Now 25, Nelson needs consistent minutes and a permanent move away from Arsenal appears the logical next step.

Arsenal’s Squad Refresh Gathers Pace

As the club continues to build under Mikel Arteta, these departures would not only free up space in the squad but also raise vital funds for further reinforcements. With several high-profile targets still in play, expect Arsenal to accelerate outgoing business in the coming weeks.
