The story picks up after the events of "Murder On The Orient Express" and "Death On The Nile," both of which saw Branagh in the director's chair as well as playing the lead role. In this third installment, the plot revolves around a suspicious seance act managed by Michelle Yeoh's character, Joyce Reynolds. Tina Fey's Ariadne Oliver seeks Poirot's expertise when things take a dark turn during one of these seances, leading to an unexpected death. As Poirot investigates, he is forced to confront the possibility of supernatural forces at play, challenging his staunch belief in rational explanations.

The trailer for "A Haunting In Venice" promises a departure from the tone of the previous Poirot films. It teases viewers with jump-scares, a palpable horror vibe, and an omnipresent sense of impending danger. However, one thing remains consistent: the ensemble cast. Alongside Branagh, Fey, and Yeoh, the film boasts performances from Jamie Dornan, Jude Hill of "Belfast" fame, Riccardo Scamarcio known for "John Wick: Chapter Two," Kelly Reilly, and several others. The screenplay is crafted by Michael Green, who also adapted "Nile" and "Orient Express."

Kenneth Branagh, apart from his association with the Poirot series, is a multifaceted talent in the world of cinema. He has been involved in various capacities, from acting to directing, in numerous films spanning different genres. His portrayal of Poirot has been particularly praised for its depth and authenticity, capturing the essence of Christie's creation.

Michelle Yeoh, playing the intriguing Joyce Reynolds, is no stranger to the big screen. With a career spanning decades, she has showcased her versatility in films ranging from action-packed blockbusters to intimate dramas. Tina Fey, primarily known for her comedic genius, brings a fresh perspective to the Poirot universe, adding another layer of complexity to the narrative.

As the mystery unfolds, audiences are left with pressing questions: Is Poirot truly dealing with ghosts? Who has been killed? And who is the culprit? All will be revealed when "A Haunting In Venice" premieres on 15 September.
