Homeowner returns to the biggest suprise of his life – the he finds out what has happened

In an astonishing turn of events in Hattiesburg, a resident returned from vacation only to find his home had not only been entered, but also meticulously cleaned, with food freshly prepared in the fridge.

The homeowner, who chose to remain anonymous, detailed the bizarre scene

Upon entering his residence, neatly folded laundry on his living room chair greeted him, along with the aroma of cooked food emanating from his kitchen.

Outside, he found Robert Otis, a local man experiencing homelessness, sweeping by his pool.

When questioned about his presence, Otis claimed to be working with a pool maintenance company—a puzzling claim since the homeowner never employed such a service.

The situation escalated quickly as the homeowner, taking precautions, held Otis at gunpoint until Hattiesburg police officers arrived.

Otis was subsequently arrested and charged with Residential Burglary.
