I love riddles and brain teasers; they’re like a fun game that lets me see how smart I am compared to my friends and family. There's a real buzz in figuring out a tough one—it makes me feel pretty smart and gives me a bit of a bragging right.

My interest in these kinds of puzzles started when I was a kid in elementary school. Back then, one of my math teachers gave us different kinds of problems to solve that made us think outside the box. These weren’t just regular math questions—they were cool puzzles that were fun to think about.

Those early puzzles really stuck with me. Now, whether I’m doing a quick crossword or tackling harder puzzles, I think of it as a good exercise for my brain. At a time when we’re all glued to our gadgets, it feels more important than ever to keep our minds sharp.

A little while ago, I found a brain teaser that really made me pause. It looked simple, but the answer wasn’t easy to find. It reminded me how much I enjoy these kinds of challenges—they push me to use my brain to the max.

Which parking space is the car in?

This riddle features six parking spaces, one of which is occupied by a red car. Each space is marked with a number, and your task is to determine the hidden number of the parking space where the red car is parked.

Many people tend to give up on this puzzle, but the solution is quite straightforward once you've figured out the trick.

Have you managed to work out the answer?

Here’s the answer:

The answer is 87.

To solve this, you need to look at the puzzle from a different perspective. While it may appear that the parking spaces are numbered 16, 06, 68, 88, x, 98, this isn't actually the case. You need to view the numbers from a different angle, and then they suddenly become 86, X, 88, 89, 90, 91. It becomes easier to deduce that the missing number is 87, doesn’t it?
