As the cold season approaches, it's almost time to start scraping frost and ice off your car windows. But what if there was a quicker way to do it?

A viral trick promises to help you remove frost in just a few seconds, while also warming your hands.

Most of us know the struggle, especially during this cold season. You wake up in the morning, perhaps in a rush, and the last thing you need is to battle frost on your car windows. It can feel like an eternity standing there with a scraper in freezing temperatures. However, a viral video on the internet shows a man removing frost from his car window in mere seconds.

All you need is a plastic bag and a faucet that can provide some warm water. A user on Facebook posted a video where he approaches his frost-covered car with a plastic bag filled with warm water. He then gently moves the bag up and down the window, and the frost disappears instantly.

The simplicity of the method has surprised many, with the video garnering over a million views and more than 24,000 shares from people likely tired of freezing their fingers in the morning.

Warming your hands while removing frost

The man behind the video, Daniel Harris, explains that the trick not only works perfectly for removing frost but also keeps your hands warm in cold weather.

"Warm water in a plastic bag, and you suddenly have an amazing ice scraper and hand warmer. It works well and quickly," he says in the post.

However, a word of caution: Be careful not to use water that's too hot, as it could crack the window. Daniel Harris advises using warm tap water to minimize the risk of damaging the window.

If you're tired of the traditional ice scraper and want to try this trick, simply fill a plastic bag with warm tap water and glide it along your car window. The frost should disappear quickly, leaving you ready to hit the road with warm hands.
