Who doesn't love a good riddle? They offer us a unique way to stretch our minds and compare our wits with those of our friends and family. The thrill of solving a particularly tricky puzzle can make anyone feel like a genius, and let's be honest, it's a great reason to show off a bit.

My fascination with riddles and brain teasers began in elementary school. It wasn't the usual math problems that caught my attention, but the special challenges my math teacher would give us. These weren't your run-of-the-mill fraction problems; they required a different kind of thinking, making them a refreshing change of pace.

That early exposure to problem-solving has stuck with me. Whether it's diving into a crossword during a lunch break or tackling more complex mental gymnastics, I find it to be a healthy exercise for the mind. In an age where we often rely on technology to do the heavy lifting, taking the time to engage our brains is more beneficial than ever.

Just the other day, I came across a brain-teaser that had me stumped for a good few minutes. It was a simple image, but figuring out the answer was anything but easy. It served as a reminder of why I love these challenges so much—they push us to use every ounce of our brainpower.

Which direction?

This image (below) is now giving thousands of people gray hairs on the internet. Can you figure out which direction the bus is going—right or left?

Here, it's really important to use all your brainpower and think outside the box! Even though this riddle is used in the education of 3rd-grade students, it's actually really hard! Apparently, only 1 out of 10 people find the correct solution!

But if you haven't found the correct solution yet, here it comes!

The bus is going to the left, i.e., option A. Since you don't see a door in the picture, it means they are on the other side of the bus—and you already know for sure that the doors are always on the right side in the direction the bus is going! (If you live in England, Australia, or another country where the driving direction is opposite, the bus would naturally be going towards B. So if that was your guess, you've got it right.)
