Anant Ambani, the youngest son of Mukesh Ambani—who is known as Asia's wealthiest individual—is preparing for his wedding. His father, the head of the massive Reliance Industries with a net worth estimated at $111 billion, is not holding back on the wedding festivities.

Anant is set to tie the knot with Radhika Merchant, the daughter of Viren Merchant, CEO of Encore Healthcare, in July. The celebration will begin with a three-day pre-wedding party in Gujarat, India, starting this Friday.

One of the first events for the wedding was a grand communal dinner. As reported by The Hindu, "On Wednesday, Ambani and his bride-to-be hosted a communal dinner for 51,000 local residents in Gujarat."

This massive dinner took place in Jogwad village, not far from the Reliance Township in Jamnagar. It's a continuation of the Ambani family's tradition of sharing with the community during significant family occasions.

Star-Studded Entertainment and Guest List

For entertainment, it's reported that Rihanna will perform at the pre-wedding party.

The "Umbrella" singer is set to entertain guests, with videos surfacing online of her arrival in Jamnagar alongside A$AP Rocky.

The Ambani family has a history of featuring star-studded performances at their weddings.

At Isha Ambani and Anand Piramal's pre-wedding ceremony in 2018, Beyoncé was the highlight. And for Anant's brother Akash's pre-wedding bash in Switzerland, guests were entertained by Chris Martin of Coldplay and The Chainsmokers, with Adam Levine performing at the post-wedding celebration.

The upcoming wedding is expected to see around 1,200 guests, including notable figures from the tech industry such as Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg, and Sundar Pichai.

Disney's CEO Bob Iger is also anticipated to attend, especially following the recent announcement of an "$8.5 billion merger of their India TV and streaming media assets" between Reliance Industries and Disney.
