A disturbing incident occurred at school No. 2025 on Bolshaya Ochakovskaya Street in western Moscow, where a schoolgirl stabbed her classmate in the back with a scalpel during a literature lesson.

The incident, first reported by the Telegram channel Shot, unfolded when the boy, a seventh-grader, was rocking on his chair and hitting his neighbor's desk, causing significant disturbance and annoyance.

Despite the schoolgirl's repeated requests for him to stop, the boy continued his disruptive behavior. In a moment of frustration, the girl initially retaliated by stabbing him with a pencil. However, when this failed to deter him, she escalated the situation by using an art knife she had inadvertently left in her pencil case from a previous lesson.

The injured student immediately ran to the school's medical office and was subsequently taken to the hospital. Fortunately, his life is not in danger. Medical professionals quickly treated his stab wound, and he was able to return home.

This violent episode has drawn the attention of the Metropolitan police, who are now investigating the circumstances of the incident. A key focus of the investigation is to determine why the teacher present during the lesson did not intervene to prevent the escalation of the conflict between the students.

This incident in Moscow follows a separate report from Stavropol, where 14-year-old schoolgirls were involved in a physical altercation over a boy. These incidents highlight growing concerns about student safety and the management of conflicts in schools.
