A deadly drone attack on a civilian bus in Marhanets leaves at least nine dead and dozens injured.

At least nine people were killed and 30 more injured when a Russian suicide drone struck a civilian bus in the city of Marhanets, located in Ukraine’s Dnipropetrovsk region.
The bus was carrying workers to their job site when it was hit, regional authorities confirmed on April 23.
“A suicide drone strike on civilians. There are many dead and wounded,” said the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Council on Telegram.
Regional governor Serhiy Lysak later confirmed the casualty figures and released photos showing the destruction. The images depict a shattered bus surrounded by debris, with emergency crews responding to the scene.

This strike in Marhanets is part of a larger wave of Russian drone and aerial bomb attacks across eastern Ukraine. Earlier the same day, Russian forces launched a coordinated assault using drones and guided bombs in the Kharkiv region, targeting both the city of Kharkiv and Kupiansk.
That attack left at least 14 people injured.
