A McDonald's receipt from Clermont Ferrand has created a buzz on social media, raising questions about who purchased such a large number of Big Macs and the reason behind it.
Stéphane Rolland, the Operations Director of McDonald’s Clermont-Ferrand Métropole, shared this interesting story on LinkedIn, detailing the bill of the players involved.
After their defeat against Clermont, the rugby players of Racing 92 found solace in the McDonald’s restaurant at the Marcel-Michelin stadium, setting a new record – a bill amounting to 1,000 euros($1.092).

The order included 50 Big Macs, the iconic hamburger of the fast-food chain, along with 50 boxes of nuggets and 50 cheeseburgers, all accompanied by fries and potatoes.
Stéphane Rolland expressed his gratitude to the robust rugby players and congratulated the team at McDonald’s Clermont Stade for their commitment and achieving this historic record.
He also mentioned in the comments of his post that the restaurant team managed to prepare the entire order in just 26 minutes.
