The Czech Republic has been shaken by the worst mass shooting in its history, centered at Charles University's Faculty of Philosophy in Prague. The shooter, identified as 24-year-old David K. from Kladno, has left the nation in a state of shock and mourning.

David K, a student at the Faculty of Philosophy, was reported to have first killed his father before heading to the university, where he continued his horrific spree. This act led to the biggest massacre in the history of the Czech Republic, claiming the lives of at least fifteen people. This is reported by Czech media.

David K. described by his peers as a quiet and introverted individual, completed his bachelor's degree in History - European Studies last year and was even recognized for his final thesis. His sudden shift from a seemingly unremarkable student to a perpetrator of such a heinous act has left many searching for answers.

Adding to the unfolding narrative, a chilling new development has emerged. A video leaked on the social media platform X, captures a harrowing scene from the tragedy. In the footage, David K. is seen shooting from a balcony at the university, targeting people on the street below before retreating back into the building.

Luckily, no one is reported to have been hit in connection with the shots that were fired at the street.

Prior to the attack, Kozak had reportedly expressed his intentions on Telegram, a messaging platform. In posts written in Cyrillic script, he indicated his desire to commit a school shooting and possibly even suicide. He also mentioned being inspired by Alina Afanaskina, a Russian schoolgirl involved in a similar incident.
