A gunman opened fire in a nursing home.
On Monday morning in Daruvar, a city east of Croatia’s capital, Zagreb, a man opened fire in a nursing home.
Local media reports indicate that the attacker entered the nursing home earlier this morning and began shooting, causing chaos and panic among residents and staff.
Following the shooting, the perpetrator fled the scene but was later apprehended by the police. Croatia’s HINA news agency confirmed the arrest, citing the local news portal Daruvar News.
The motives behind the attack are still unclear as the investigation is ongoing.
As of now, police officials have not released an official statement confirming the details of the shooting.
