Three 18-year-old students have been sentenced to 11 months of “corrective labour” for twerking outside the Cathedral of Christ the Saviour in Moscow.
The dance was filmed and shared on TikTok. The cathedral is known to be attended by President Vladimir Putin.
Expelled From University

The women were convicted of “petty hooliganism” and expelled from their university.
Officials said they had “violated public order and insulted the religious feelings of citizens.” Their video quickly drew criticism from conservative Orthodox circles.
