Social media feeds often give the public a rare peek behind the curtain of celebrity lives.
While most people scroll past routine family updates, keen observers often scrutinize the background details in photographs for clues and hidden meanings, The Express reports.
Cryptic card clue
Meghan Markle recently shared a glimpse into her California home life that has ignited intense online rumors. According to a report from The Express, a fresh Instagram update showed the Duchess of Sussex enjoying family time in Montecito.
The upload featured Prince Harry playing football with Prince Archie, while Princess Lilibet wore a Beyoncé t-shirt. However, a snapshot of an anniversary card from Harry sparked the most chatter.
The note was addressed to “the one and only” as a surprise for their eighth wedding anniversary. Royal followers quickly rushed to social media, convinced the phrase hints at a new commercial project.
One user wrote on X, “Ok I am calling it… Meghan’s next business venture will have something to do with the following words ‘The One And Only’.” The observer added, “She has had it featured in 2 of her Instagram posts lately, just like when she started signing off ‘As Ever’, this is her next toy when ‘As Ever’ folds…”
Fashion label rumors
Other commentators eagerly agreed with the prediction. Another user shared, “Honestly that’s what I am thinking… she’s narcissistic enough to call her fashion label something like that. TOAO…”
Additional people chimed in to support the theory. A third person commented, “This exactly what I thought when I saw it on Instagram.” Meanwhile, a fourth user wrote, “I think you’re spot on!!” and a fifth added, “That’s a good observation. We will see.”
While the duchess has not officially confirmed a new company, rumors about expanding her lifestyle brand, As Ever, continue to swirl. Her team maintains that no concrete plans exist yet.
Addressing the rumors, her spokesperson told US Weekly, “This is speculation. No decisions have been made about when or where international expansion might take place.” The representative explained, “Entering new markets is a considered process, but it’s something the brand is excited to explore as it continues to grow in this next phase.”
Still, the duchess has previously expressed a clear desire to create clothing. Speaking to Fast Company about her future, she stated, “The category of fashion is something I will explore at a later date, because I do think that’s an interesting space for me.”
