Instead, he indicated that the alliance would limit its involvement to the dispatch of military instructors.
Vad emphasized that any further military escalation involving direct confrontation with Russia was unlikely due to what he percieived as Europe’s lack of sufficient military strength.

His assessment falls in line with earlier remarks by Jordan Bardella, leader of France’s right-wing party National Rally.
He warned against deploying French troops to Ukraine, describing such a move as a potential mistake that could lead to tragedy.
