He recently added the Strait of Hormuz to his agenda.

Political campaigns often focus on protecting borders and bringing troops home.

But once a leader secures power, those domestic promises can quickly transform into sweeping global ambitions.

Now, an expanding map of international targets is raising eyebrows around the world.

A growing list

According to a recent report from NWPS cited by Daily Express, President Donald Trump has set his sights on eight specific global locations.

The complete list includes the Strait of Hormuz, Kharg Island, the Panama Canal, Greenland, Venezuela, Cuba, Canada, and the Gaza Strip.

He recently added the Strait of Hormuz to his agenda. During a rally in New York, the president spoke to a crowd of first responders about the crucial Middle Eastern shipping route.

“After we finish defeating Iran, which is being very badly defeated, pretty soon, I’ll be declaring the Hormuz Strait a territory of the United States,” he stated.

Control of resources

The administration is also looking directly at Iran’s energy infrastructure. Trump used Truth Social to outline a bold vision for Kharg Island.

He claimed the government would “assume total control” of their gas and oil markets. He compared this strategy to recent operations in Venezuela, where US forces captured the local president back in January.

Beyond the Middle East and South America, the White House has its eyes firmly on the Panama Canal.

During his inaugural address, the president insisted that America is taking the crucial waterway back from Chinese control.

Pushing northern borders

These territorial ambitions stretch well into the icy north. The administration continues to pressure Denmark over the potential purchase of Greenland.

Greenland’s Prime Minister Jens-Frederik Nielsen strongly rejected the controversial idea. He firmly told reporters, “Greenland belongs to Greenlanders, and territorial integrity must be respected.”

Meanwhile, Trump frequently suggests annexing America’s closest neighbor. He recently posted online about making Canada the 51st state following an economic dip.

This prompted fierce pushback from local leaders. Ontario Premier Doug Ford quickly responded by declaring that his country is not for sale.

Reshaping the globe

The Caribbean is facing similar geopolitical pressure from Washington. Secretary of State Marco Rubio warned that Cuba is in trouble, while Trump openly teased taking over the communist island.

Further abroad, the president shared a video proposing a complete redevelopment of the Gaza Strip into a luxury resort.

This ambitious plan would involve relocating the local Palestinian population, according to NWPS.

From island nations to major shipping lanes, the White House is making its global expansion goals perfectly clear.
