The Republican national midterm convention in Dallas, Texas, occurred almost a week ago.
The news cycle is relentless, moving fast, and can be overwhelming at times.
One of the “forgotten” news items from Trump-a-palooza is the fact that a group of Epstein survivors was kicked out of the convention by the GOP with no explanation given.
Booted without an explanation
A group of Epstein survivors advocating against child sex trafficking had bought tickets to the Republican midterm convention. The GOP apparently did not like that and kicked them out of the convention.
Two of the survivors, Charlene Richard and Marijke Chartouni, made a video for social media, in which they recapped the encounter. “We were there for 35 minutes before we were separated. They took our badges, and took photos of us and told us that we were not allowed at the convention.”
According to the two women, they were not protesting anything; they were just talking to a guy running for Congress trying to highlight the issue.

Thrown out after asking uncomfortable questions
The guy in question was Robert Burke, a Republican hoping to get elected to Congress from the state of Massachusetts.
Independent journalist Tara Palmeri was the one interviewing him while the Epstein survivors were in the background chiming in.
The interview was very cordial and lasted ten minutes, but immediately after the interview was conducted, they were thrown out of the convention center.

Why were they kicked out?
Neither Palmeri nor the two survivors know why they were thrown out by the GOP. The women said they had no intention of being “provocative” and wanted to “fit in.”
According to them, the Epstein files and child sex trafficking issues are nonpartisan – they are neither Republican nor Democratic. “What we are fighting for crosses all (political) lines and it was not fair we were asked to leave for no apparent reason.”
According to Palmeri, the group was there for a total of 35 minutes before getting kicked out. The GOP has yet to release a statement on the matter.
