Meghan Markle has launched a $148 advent calendar with gourmet chocolatier Compartés featuring an illustration of her California home.

The Duchess of Sussex launched a $148 advent calendar featuring an illustration of her California residence on Thursday.

Marking her first commercial release since relocating to Britain, she created the 24-piece chocolate box alongside Los Angeles brand Compartés for her As Ever label.

The packaging highlights the couple’s former Montecito residence—an £11 million property where they spent six years—rendered in a festive drawing.

A press release declared “every detail was considered with care, including countdown numbers hand-painted in Meghan’s own penmanship using edible gold lustre,” according to the Daily Mail.

The collection incorporates a range of fruit-infused options—such as strawberry, raspberry, blackberry, and orange marmalade—alongside a signature piece decorated with edible floral toppings.

Dark chocolate ganache truffles complete the lineup, with her handwriting said to turn “each day’s reveal into a small, personal moment.”

California roots

US buyers can pre-order the calendar on the As Ever website, with shipments starting in November.

She built the product concept alongside Compartés creative director Jonathan Grahm.

According to the brand, the product blends Compartés’ craft with As Ever’s signature aesthetic, designed to serve as a keepsake beyond the holiday season.

Teasing the launch on Instagram, the duchess shared a clip of herself behind the wheel of a golf cart with Grahm, tagged with the caption “Christmas planning in June.”

She launched her lifestyle venture last year alongside her Netflix show With Love, Meghan.

Returning to the UK in August with Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, the duchess keeps building her commercial portfolio, according to the Daily Mail.

A brand on its own

The advent calendar also arrives at an important moment for Meghan’s business ambitions.

Earlier this year, As Ever ended its partnership with Netflix after the streaming giant had helped launch the lifestyle brand alongside With Love, Meghan.

According to TheWrap, the company said it had experienced “meaningful and rapid growth” and was ready to move into its next chapter independently.

The new chocolate collection therefore represents more than another seasonal product, as Meghan continues expanding As Ever as a standalone lifestyle business while maintaining a strong connection to the California identity behind the brand.
