On November 25, a Russian attack targeted the densely populated Kyivskyi district of Kharkiv, injuring 19 people and causing damage to civilian infrastructure.

This was reported by Mayor Ihor Terekhov and regional governor Oleh Syniehubov on Telegram.

“A strike has occurred in Kharkiv. Stay alert! The attack hit the Kyivskyi district, igniting a fire at the site of impact,” Terekhov announced.

Syniehubov reported that the explosion caused fires along central streets, with emergency services actively working to control the situation.

“Civilian infrastructure and vehicles were damaged. There are casualties, and medical teams are on the scene providing assistance,” he stated.

Of the 19 injured, nine required hospitalization. Terekhov emphasized that the strike hit a residential area surrounded by high-rise buildings, sparking fires in nearby structures and vehicles.

The mayor also noted that Russian forces likely used an S-400 missile in the attack.

Earlier in the week, Ukraine’s Security Service (SBU) uncovered fragments of a new Russian Oreshnik Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM), which had struck the city of Dnipro on November 21.
