Nestlé USA has issued a nationwide recall on four popular frozen meals sold under the Lean Cuisine and Stouffer’s brands due to concerns about foreign matter contamination, including reports of a “wood-like material” found in the food.

The recall affects products sold between September 2024 and March 2025 at major retailers across the U.S., including Walmart, Kroger, Giant, Walgreens, and others.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) confirmed that at least one choking incident has been linked to the contamination, prompting Nestlé to take action.
