They’re cloudy. They have spots, streaks, or a dull, milky film. It doesn’t mean they’re dirty. It just means something else is going on.
The good news is you don’t need to throw them away. Cloudy glasses can often be fixed with a few easy tricks, writes Tag24.

Vinegar and Salt Paste
Mix a little vinegar with salt until it forms a thick paste. Rub this onto the glass using a cloth or your fingers.
Let it sit for a few minutes. Rinse with warm water. Dry with a soft towel. The glass should already look clearer.
Hot Water and Vinegar or Lemon Acid
Fill a bowl with hot water. Add a good splash of vinegar or citric acid. Place the cloudy glasses upside down in the bowl.
Let them soak for 30 minutes. Rinse and dry. This works especially well on limescale.
Denture Cleaning Tablets
Drop a tablet into warm water. Dip a cloth into the solution. Rub the cloudy spots. Rinse and dry. This can help remove both limescale and light corrosion.
Raw Potato and Vinegar
Cut a raw potato in half. Sprinkle some vinegar on the cut side. Rub the glass with the potato. Rinse and dry. This method is old-fashioned but surprisingly effective
Ammonia and Water Soak
Add a bit of ammonia to warm water. Soak the glasses for a short time. Rinse and dry. Be careful. The smell is strong and can irritate your skin. Use gloves.
Salt Water with Eggshells
Boil some salt water. Crush eggshells into the mix. Let the glasses soak upside down for a few minutes. Rinse and dry well. This trick is often used for old jars.
