According to the latest ActiVote poll, just 45% of Americans approve of Trump’s performance, while 52% disapprove, leaving him with a net approval of -7.

Trump also raised alarm by suggesting the deportation of US citizens and opening a controversial immigration facility in Florida, nicknamed “Alligator Alcatraz.”

The rhetoric and policies have left even some of his supporters questioning the administration’s direction.

This offers a small silver lining for a presidency under mounting pressure.

Not all demographics are turning away. Trump continues to enjoy solid support among men, rural communities, and voters aged 50–64.

However, the erosion of swing voter support could spell trouble ahead of the next election cycle.

One of the weakest areas for the president is his handling of the Ukraine-Russia conflict. In a Quinnipiac University poll, just 34% approved of his approach.

Polling analyst Tim Malloy noted that Americans have “little appetite” for Trump’s strategy in the war’s third year.
