In the ultimate break with his former ally Donald Trump, Elon Musk has announced the creation of America Party.

“Today, the America Party is formed to give you back your freedom,” he said in a post on X.

BRICS countries in joint statement about Ukraine

During a summit over the weekend, the BRICS-countries have released a joint statement about Ukraine, appreciating the offers of mediation in the Russo-Ukraine war.

The BRICS-countries are Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa.

Trump threatens BRICS-supporters

In a post on Truth Social, Donald Trump said that:

“Any Country aligning themselves with the Anti-American policies of BRICS, will be charged an ADDITIONAL 10% Tariff. There will be no exceptions to this policy.”

Tariff deadline postponed

Since announcing the sweeping tariffs on “Liberation Day”, Donald Trump paused the tariff’s implementation until July 9th.

Now Trump has postponed that deadline until August 1st, adding that a number of nations will receive a “letter” from the Trump Administration today, Monday.
