Currently home to the Escape and Corsair, the Louisville plant will be retooled to produce vehicles on Ford’s new low-cost, flexible EV platform.

Both models will roll off the line for the last time later this year, though Ford says dealers will have enough inventory to sell them well into 2026.

The Escape was Ford’s second-best-selling SUV last year, while the Corsair accounted for a quarter of Lincoln’s total sales — making their removal a bold decision.
