Russian state media figure Vladimir Solovyov used his Full Contact radio show to call on Donald Trump to change sides in the war.
Propagandist urges Trump to back Russia

He framed the appeal as a moral crusade and cast Russia as a defender of “traditional” values.
The rant fits a pattern of messaging that seeks to pull U.S. conservatives toward Moscow’s line on Ukraine.
“America has to come over to the side of good”

Solovyov claimed Ukraine is a “global evil” and urged the U.S. to align with Russia, invoking World War II imagery.
He said: “America has to come over to the side of good, and together with us, like in World War II and the Great Patriotic War, destroy universal evil that has taken root within America itself, which is freely blooming in Europe.”

Ukraine as “one of these scary hards of Medusa”

Continuing, Solovyov declared that evil was “freely blooming in Europe” and centered part of it in Ukraine.
He added: “And one of these scary hards of Medusa is in Ukraine. That’s why we fight against gloval evil in Ukraine.”
The language was lurid and conspiratorial, mixing myth with modern politics to vilify Kyiv.
“Stand shoulder to shoulder with us”

Solovyov pitched a broad appeal to “healthy, traditional, conservative forces” worldwide.

He said: “That’s why we’re addressing all healthy, traditional, conservative forces in the world. If you want to defeat global evil, you have to stand shoulder to shoulder with us.”
The message cast Russia as a natural ally for Western right-wing movements and for Trump himself.
Linking rhetoric to Charlie Kirk’s murder

The host also addressed the killing of American activist Charlie Kirk at Utah Valley University.
He asserted Kirk “despised” President Volodymyr Zelensky and opposed U.S. aid to Kyiv.
Solovyov said: “His position was very anti-Ukrainian. He simply despised Zelensky and said so many times.” He then claimed Kirk favored restoring ties with Moscow.

Solovyov suggested the killing was a “very worrisome sign” that could push Trump toward “very harsh measures.”
He said Kirk “demanded the US government to stop supporting Kyiv and not send American troops to Ukraine.”
The segment implied that doubling down against Ukraine would be the correct response.
Medvedev’s escalation of blame

Former Russian president Dmitry Medvedev seized on the murder to attack Ukraine’s supporters.
He wrote on X: “Political crimes and assasinations have been carried out lately by a variety of left-wing liberal scum who support Banderite Kiev. ‘Fico, Kirk. Who’s next? Maybe it’s time for the MAGA team to realize that by supporting Ukraine, they’re supporting murderers.’”

Kremlin allies amplify the narrative

Kremlin negotiator Kirill Dmitriev circulated a video that he said showed leftists “in full celebration mode over Kirk getting shot.”
These claims fed a wider information campaign that seeks to pin U.S. unrest on pro-Ukraine forces.
The chorus from Moscow tried to recast Russia as the “side of good” and Ukraine as a threat far beyond its borders.
