Ukrainian Special Operations Forces (SSO) carried out a precision drone strike deep inside occupied Luhansk, targeting Russian fuel infrastructure more than 140 kilometers behind the front lines, the SSO announced on Nov. 3.

The coordinated overnight operation used FP-2 combat drones, striking two key locations: a fuel train near Dovzhansk and a supply warehouse near the village of Rozkishne, both in Russia-controlled territory.

“The best victory is the one where the enemy never arrives at the battlefield,” the SSO said in a statement following the strike.

Video released by Ukrainian forces shows multiple explosions lighting up the night as Russian fuel tankers and supply storage facilities were hit.

Open-source intelligence analysts from CyberBorshchno geolocated the attacks, confirming the fuel tankers were stationed between Vedmezhe and Dovzhansk, roughly 140 kilometers from the active front.

The second strike targeted a logistics warehouse in Rozkishne, around 90 kilometers from Ukrainian positions.

According to the SSO, the site was completely destroyed, further hindering Russia’s supply network for its “Center” group of forces.

The FP-2 drone, developed by Ukrainian firm Fire Point, is a newer short-range system equipped with a larger warhead than its predecessor.

Though its range of 200 kilometers is more limited than the earlier FP-1 model (which could reach 1,400 kilometers), the FP-2 carries a 105-kilogram payload, making it highly effective for mid-range strikes.
