A new magazine profile is offering an unusually intimate look at Meghan Markle’s home life and evolving career.

Across the feature, published by Harper’s Bazaar on Nov. 19, she discusses holding firm to her boundaries and leaning on her husband’s unwavering support.

Stronger footing

Meghan told the magazine that sustained scrutiny forced her to rethink how she protects her peace.

“I think my boundaries became stronger,” she said, adding that she has learned new ways to stay steady.

Attention soon shifts to Prince Harry, whom she calls “H.”

Meghan described his presence as her anchor, noting: “He loves me so boldly, fully, and he also has a different perspective because he sees media that I wouldn’t.” She added,

“No one in the world loves me more than him, so I know he’s always going to make sure that he has my back.”

Playful energy

She told Harper’s Bazaar that Harry is “someone who just has this childlike wonder and playfulness,” a quality she found immediately appealing.

According to her, that same spirit now informs both family life and business decisions.

Meghan said she enjoys running her lifestyle brand As ever from home so she can stay close to their children, Prince Archie, 6, and Princess Lilibet, 4.

Recent public appearances have also reminded her of the balance she aims to maintain. “I love being able to do both,” she said. “To play in the sandbox with my kids and to play in the front row at a show.”

Creative return

Her Bazaar cover accompanies a new wave of projects, including the Dec. 3 Netflix holiday episode of With Love, Meghan, which features guests such as Naomi Osaka, Tom Colicchio, Will Guidara, Kelly McKee Zajfen and longtime friend Lindsay Roth.

The special coincides with As ever’s first holiday collection, which appears throughout the show.

Meghan also addressed earlier challenges, including trademark shifts that led to dropping her original brand name.

“I was figuring it out in real time,” she said, reflecting on the lessons learned and on giving herself room to grow.

Back to her roots

She noted Harry’s enthusiasm as she returns to creative work reminiscent of her days running The Tig.

“My husband met me when I had The Tig, and I see this spark in his eye when he sees me doing the thing that I was doing when he first met me,” she said.

Calling it “almost like a honeymoon period again,” Meghan said the renewed energy comes from reconnecting with the work that has always defined her.
