A new batch of documents linked to Jeffrey Epstein has revealed numerous British names referenced across thousands of files, emails and communications.

As The Mirror emphasized in its review, a person’s name appearing in the files does not indicate wrongdoing, personal contact with Epstein, or any knowledge of his crimes.

In many cases, individuals were mentioned because Epstein forwarded articles containing their names or someone casually referenced them.

“Nothing to hide”

The U.S. House of Representatives recently voted almost unanimously to release the documents, and President Donald Trump has publicly supported their publication, claiming he has “nothing to hide.”

Epstein, who died in 2019, had previously been convicted of procuring a minor for prostitution and soliciting a prostitute, and was awaiting trial on sex-trafficking charges at the time of his death.

Royal family figures

Among the most frequently appearing British names are members of the royal family.

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor is referenced 173 times and his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson appears 9 times.

Princess Diana’s name is found 14 times.

Queen Camilla is mentioned on 9 occasions.

The references do not indicate personal ties; the documents simply contain their names in various communications.

Political leaders

Several former prime ministers also appear.

Tony Blair is mentioned 22 times, Gordon Brown 16 times, and David Cameron 19 times.

Reform UK leader Nigel Farage appears 18 times, largely due to email exchanges between Epstein and former Trump adviser Steve Bannon.

Former cabinet minister Peter Mandelson is cited 10 times.

The Maxwell family

Epstein’s longtime associate Ghislaine Maxwell appears heavily throughout the files, with 135 mentions.

Her father, Robert Maxwell — who died in 1991 — is referenced 47 times.

Scientists, entertainers and public figures

Numerous names from science, entertainment and sport are also present, often because they appeared in articles that Epstein shared.

Stephen Hawking’s name appears 17 times, Richard Dawkins 29 times, and David Beckham 9 times.

Elton John is referenced 8 times, while Mick Jagger’s name appears 9 times after Epstein asked an associate in 2011 whether certain performers were “in town.”

Actor Colin Firth is mentioned 10 times, Naomi Campbell 10 times, Piers Morgan 9 times and Adele 8 times.

Context, not accusation

The Mirror stressed that being mentioned in the files reflects nothing more than the fact that a name was written or forwarded at some point within Epstein’s communications.

As an example of how little the mentions alone signify, William Shakespeare appears 9 times despite having died centuries ago.

With additional files set for release, the list is expected to grow.

Reporters again stressed that a name appearing in the documents “does not suggest any wrongdoing or a friendship,” only that it was written or forwarded at some point within Epstein’s communications.
