Walmart has issued a nationwide recall of roughly 201,000 portable stoves after dozens of reports of fires, explosions and burn injuries.

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced the recall, urging consumers to stop using the product immediately.

What’s being recalled

The recall applies to Ozark Trail Tabletop 1-Burner Butane Camping Stoves with the printed model number BG2247A1.

The stoves were sold in Walmart stores across the United States and online at Walmart.com between March 2023 and October 2025. Prices ranged from $8 to $45.

Why they’re dangerous

According to the CPSC, Walmart received 26 consumer reports involving the stoves catching fire or exploding during use.
