US consumers are being urged to check their kitchens and medicine cabinets after a new wave of recalls.

Many of the items were sold nationally at chains such as Walmart, Aldi, Target, Kroger and Wegmans.

Officials advise discarding recalled goods or returning them for refunds to avoid potential health or safety risks.

Cheese

Boar’s Head has issued a recall of its Pecorino Romano grated tubs and wedges due to possible Listeria monocytogenes contamination.

The FDA classified the recall as Class I, warning of a “reasonable probability” of severe illness for vulnerable groups including pregnant people and older adults.

Separately, more than 1.5 million bags of mozzarella-based shredded cheeses sold under multiple labels at Walmart, Aldi, Target and other retailers were recalled over potential metal fragments. The recall covers 64 products with sell-by dates through March 2026.

Consumers should match UPCs and batch numbers to the official list and discard affected packages.

Ice cream

Jeni’s Splendid Ice Cream recalled its Passion Fruit Dreamsicle Ice Cream Bars, distributed nationwide including at Kroger.

Boxes marked with batch code “25-210” may contain undeclared wheat and soy — allergens that can trigger serious reactions.

Anyone experiencing symptoms is advised to seek medical care.

Mixed nuts

Wegmans recalled two Deluxe Unsalted Mixed Nuts varieties over possible Salmonella contamination.

The 11.5-ounce and 32-ounce containers carry UPCs 0-77890-42135-2 and 0-77890-42131-4, with best-by dates in mid-2026.

No illnesses have been reported, but consumers should discard or return the products as a precaution.

Nasal spray

About 41,000 bottles of Walgreens Saline Nasal Spray with Xylitol were pulled for potential contamination with Pseudomonas lactis.

The affected lots are “71409” (expires Feb. 28, 2027) and “71861” (expires Aug. 31, 2027).

Appliances

The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced a recall of more than 200,000 Ozark Trail Tabletop 1-Burner Butane Camping Stoves (model BG2247A1) after 26 reports of fires or explosions and 16 injuries.

Sold at Walmart from March 2023 to October 2025, the stoves should be returned immediately for a refund.

The CPSC also issued an alert for Blongky portable car kettles (model FCC 390 Pro), sold online through Amazon, Walmart and eBay, after nine burn injuries.

The kettles may spew hot liquid or steam, and users are urged to stop using them as a recall moves forward.
