Jeff Landry is 54 years old and has served as governor of Louisiana since 2024. Information from his official website shows that he is a military veteran who took part in Operation Desert Storm. He is also a former police officer.
Before becoming governor, Landry had a long political career. He served as a member of the US House of Representatives. He later became Louisiana’s attorney general. These roles gave him experience with both national politics and law enforcement issues.
