A new opinion poll has produced a small numerical change for Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, but it offers little sign of rehabilitation. The figures come as the former Duke of York prepares for a significant change in his living arrangements.

Despite the apparent movement, public sentiment remains overwhelmingly negative.
Poll numbers shift
Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor has received a slight boost in a new YouGov poll, according to the Express. The survey, conducted between January 8 and 9, found that 90% of respondents held a negative view of him.
That figure is marginally lower than in October, when 91% of those surveyed expressed a negative opinion. However, just 3% of respondents said they viewed him positively, the lowest favourable rating recorded by YouGov so far.
In the October poll, 4% of respondents held a positive view. Andrew remains the least popular royal in the ranking, alongside Meghan Markle and Prince Harry as the three most unpopular figures.
Life changes ahead
The poll results come as Andrew prepares to leave Royal Lodge, his long-time residence. The former duke is spending his final days at the 30-room property, with removal vans recently seen entering and leaving the grounds.

He was also reported to have been seen leaving Royal Lodge by car on Thursday. Reports suggest he is expected to vacate the property by January 25, although this has not been officially confirmed. Earlier expectations had placed the move closer to Easter.
Avoiding attention
According to the Express, Andrew is unlikely to be aware of the latest polling figures. It has been reported that he has been avoiding newspapers and limiting his exposure to media coverage.
A source told Hello! magazine: “Andrew has stopped getting newspapers or reading anything. He’s in his own bubble. The girls do see him. Andrew and Sarah have to move out by January 25.”
Next residence
Andrew is expected to maintain a low profile after relocating to a reported new home, Marsh Farm, on the King’s Sandringham estate. Work is already under way at the property, including the installation of new fencing, CCTV, and a security system.
His former wife, Sarah Ferguson, who has lived with him at Royal Lodge since 2008, is not expected to move with him and will instead find her own residence.
