A 56-year-old man from Oregon has been charged with murder after police say he killed his girlfriend and dumped her body in a forest with help from his 15-year-old son.
William Glen Blake was arrested on October 23 by detectives from the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office and Oregon City Police Department.
He is accused of killing 38-year-old Jennifer Ruth Stuart on August 15 at their shared home in Oregon City.
Her body was found more than two weeks later, on September 1, in the Mount Hood National Forest.
Blake now faces multiple charges, including second-degree murder, abuse of a corpse, unlawful use of a weapon, and tampering with evidence.
According to Clackamas County jail records, he is being held without bail.
Teen son also charged
Blake’s 15-year-old son has also been charged in connection with the case.

Jennifer Stuart’s friends say they are struggling to understand what happened.
“She was a good girl, but she’s in a better place, I guess,” friend Mike Chaney told KPTV, a local Fox affiliate. “When I found out, it hit me in my stomach. It hurt. Why do we have to lose the good ones when there are so many bad people out there?”
The Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office and Oregon City Police Department are continuing their investigation.
