On a typical Thursday evening, a 38-year-old man opened fire on another motorist, a 42-year-old, on a highway in Denmark.

The shooter believed that the other driver did not move to the right quickly enough. Following the incident, police arrested the 38-year-old man during the night into Friday.

Witnesses reported hearing three to four gunshots on the Helsingør Motorway in North Zealand, as per the news agency Ritzau.

As reported by Boosted Magazine the information was confirmed by the duty officer at North Zealand Police.

The vehicle and its windows were struck by bullets, but the driver remained unharmed, as stated by the duty officer.

The shooter, identified as a 38-year-old man, has been charged with attempted murder and violation of the firearms act under aggravating circumstances. He was brought before a judge for a preliminary hearing on Friday, where he was remanded in custody for two weeks.

However, the man pleaded not guilty to all the charges brought against him by the police.
