A world without Republicans sounds like a dream for Democrats, but The Babylon Bee has other ideas.

Political disagreements in the United States have become so deeply entrenched that the country’s two major parties often seem to inhabit entirely different versions of reality.

Republicans and Democrats routinely clash over everything from government spending and immigration to cultural values and the role of the federal government.

But what if one side of that political divide simply disappeared?

Conservative satirical outlet The Babylon Bee has decided to explore that possibility, using artificial intelligence to imagine an America where Republicans no longer exist.

The result is a bizarre collection of exaggerated scenarios that takes aim at progressive politics, government bureaucracy and the consequences of having only one political party calling the shots.

And judging by the video, The Babylon Bee is not particularly enthusiastic about the prospect.

The Babylon Bee imagines a Republican-free America

The video opens by introducing its unusual experiment.

“We asked AI to simulate what it would be like if the U.S. had no Republicans,” the opening text reads.

What follows is a rapid succession of AI-generated scenes depicting a fictional United States without the Republican Party.

Rather than presenting a political paradise where disagreements have vanished and government runs smoothly, the video offers a deliberately absurd vision of American life.

Political meetings, television broadcasts, courtroom proceedings and government institutions all become part of the satirical experiment.

One scene features a store advertising that everything is free, a visual joke that appears to mock the idea of unlimited government-funded benefits.

Elsewhere, people queue outside a building marked “GOVERNANCE,” while other sequences depict officials, judges and members of the public navigating the fictional political system.

The video also includes military-themed imagery and scenes involving government authority, reinforcing its broader criticism of an America supposedly dominated by progressive political thinking.

Although the individual sketches vary, they share a common premise: removing Republicans would not necessarily eliminate political dysfunction.

According to The Babylon Bee’s satirical imagination, it might simply create an entirely different collection of problems.

Artificial intelligence becomes the latest political comedian

The Babylon Bee has built its reputation on publishing fictional news stories that parody politics, religion, popular culture and current events.

Its humor frequently targets Democrats, progressive activists and liberal political positions, although its satirical format also allows it to exaggerate real political controversies beyond recognition.

The latest video follows that tradition while embracing artificial intelligence as a storytelling tool.

Instead of relying entirely on written headlines and fictional news reports, the outlet uses computer-generated imagery to construct a series of imaginary situations.

The exaggerated characters and surreal scenarios give the production the appearance of a collection of political sketches, with AI providing the visuals for jokes that might otherwise have required actors, sets and a production crew.

Crucially, the scenes are not presented as actual footage of American institutions or real events.

They are fictional representations intended to ridicule political ideas through exaggeration.
