A private wedding plan is drawing attention after conflicting reports about timing and location.
The American president’s son pushed back after Page Six claimed earlier in May that his wedding plans with Bettina Anderson had been postponed.
People said Trump Jr. responded after the New York Post shared the claim on X. His reply was: “News to me.”
That denial appears to address the postponement claim, not every later detail about possible venues or timing.
Island option
Page Six later said the couple is expected to marry over Memorial Day weekend 2026 on a private island in the Bahamas.
The outlet attributed the detail to a source, but the couple has not publicly confirmed the location.
The same outlet said a larger White House celebration had previously been discussed. Page Six linked the smaller plan to concerns that a lavish event could draw criticism amid tensions involving Iran.
People also cited a source who said the couple wanted the timing to be right politically before finalizing plans.
Family circle
People said Anderson held a bridal shower at Mar-a-Lago in April. Ivanka Trump, Tiffany Trump and Marla Maples were among the guests, while Melania Trump did not attend, according to a Palm Beach source cited by the magazine.
A source told People: “The shower was gorgeous.”
Anderson later posted about the event on Instagram, thanking her hostesses and saying she could not wait to marry Trump Jr.
Page Six separately quoted Trump Jr. as saying: “I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with Bettina. She is smart, loving and caring.”
What is known
Trump Jr. and Anderson revealed their engagement in December 2025. The proposal took place at Camp David during Anderson’s birthday celebration.
Their relationship became public after Trump Jr.’s engagement to Kimberly Guilfoyle ended.
He was previously married to Vanessa Trump from 2005 to 2018, and they share five children.
So far, Trump Jr.’s denial is the only on-record response. The Bahamas ceremony remains a reported plan from Page Six, not an announcement from the couple.
