A nationwide recall has been issued for another over-the-counter nasal spray, with federal regulators warning consumers to check their medicine cabinets immediately.
ReBoost spray recalled
According to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), MediNatura New Mexico, Inc. has voluntarily recalled 20-millilitre bottles of ReBoost Nasal Spray after tests detected yeast, mold and microbial contamination, including the bacteria Achromobacter.
The affected bottles carry:
- NDC: 62795-4005-9
- UPC: 787647 10186 3
- Lot code: 224268
- Expiry date: December 2027
The spray was sold both online and in retail stores across the U.S.
Health risks and what to do
The FDA says high levels of Achromobacter can pose a serious danger, especially for people with weakened immune systems, as the bacteria can cause life-threatening infections.

Consumers who have the recalled nasal spray should stop using it immediately and seek a refund.
Anyone with symptoms or concerns should speak to a healthcare professional.
Second nasal spray recall in weeks
This recall follows a separate nationwide alert involving more than 40,000 bottles of Walgreens saline nasal spray, which were pulled due to a different microbial contamination.
Regulators are urging consumers to check for both affected products.
