In the early hours of August 7, Ukrainian air defense forces successfully destroyed 14 "Shahed 131/136" unmanned aerial vehicles in the Mykolaiv region.
The head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, Vitaliy Kim, shared this update via Telegram.
According to Kim, the military operations and falling debris caused two grass fires in open areas within the Mykolaiv and Bashtan districts.
These fires were extinguished by firefighters, and no casualties were reported.
Kim also noted that on the evening of August 6, at 8:40 PM, an FPV drone attack targeted the water area of the Kutsurub community.
On the morning of August 7, at 7:15 AM, another FPV drone was directed towards the town of Ochakiv in the Ochakivsk community, resulting in another grass fire in an open area.
Efforts to extinguish the fire are ongoing.
This comes after an air alert was issued by the Ukrainian Air Force on the night of July 7 due to the threat of ballistic missile attacks in several regions.
