Russian drones cross into Poland

Polish officials confirmed that more than ten Russian drones entered Polish skies overnight.

The incursion forced Warsaw’s main airport to close temporarily, disrupting civilian air traffic.

Several drones were shot down by Polish forces, while NATO fighter jets scrambled in support.

Authorities described the breach as “an act of aggression” and the most serious violation of NATO airspace since the start of the Ukraine war.

Analyst Yuriy Boychekom who is the CEO of Hope for Ukraine said the drone attack was the direct result of Trump’s foreign policy.

He argued that over the past eight months, Trump’s actions left Europe exposed.

“Disastrous foreign policy by President Trump has caused Russian drones entering Polish airspace today freely paralysing most Polish commercial air traffic,” he said to Express.

For Boycheko, the incident shows how American weakness under Trump only seems to embolden Putin.

“Putin sees that the king has no clothes and he is crossing red line after red line,” he said.

He insisted that if the alliance fails to respond, Putin will keep pushing.

“If Putin won’t get any consequences for flying multiple drones on purpose into Poland then it’s safe to say that NATO is dead as a security alliance,” Boycheko told Express.co.uk.

Biden versus Trump compared

Boycheko contrasted Joe Biden’s and Donald Trump’s approaches to Russia.

“Biden supplied weapons to Ukraine, brought sanctions against Russia, isolated Putin on the world stage and unified western allies,” he explained.

According to Boycheko, those steps limited Moscow’s options in Ukraine.

By contrast, he said Trump “shielded Putin from any new sanctions, cut supplies of weapons to Ukraine to minimum, brought Putin out of diplomatic isolation with his meeting in Alaska and started confrontation with European allies.”

Putin emboldened by Trump

Boycheko accused Trump of hypocrisy for calling himself a law-and-order president while shaking Putin’s hand in Alaska.

“Those hands are covered in Ukrainian blood,” he claimed.
He added that Trump’s double standards only emboldened the Kremlin.

According to him, Putin now feels strong enough to test NATO directly by sending drones into Poland.
