The Third Separate Assault Brigade has been sent to bolster Ukrainian forces in Avdiivka, describing the situation as nothing short of hellish.
"Avdiivka is hell. The Third Separate Assault Brigade confirms that it has been urgently redeployed to reinforce Ukrainian troops in the area of Avdiivka," the brigade reported.
Upon arrival, they found the city's conditions extremely critical, engaging in raids against enemy positions.
Despite managing to critically damage two Russian brigades, the threat level remains high with the enemy continuously bringing in new troops and equipment.
Commander Andrii Biletskyi praised the unparalleled bravery of his soldiers: "We are forced to fight 360 degrees against new brigades that the enemy is deploying."
The specifics of Russian losses are yet to be determined and will be shared after further verification.
Reinforcements to Avdiivka
In the backdrop of escalating tensions, the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade was moved to Avdiivka by Ukraine’s Eastern Command on February 13, following Brigadier General Oleksandr Tarnavskyi's announcement of additional support to the front.
