Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy took to social media on Thursday to reveal a significant shift in Ukraine's defense strategy.

During a meeting with top commanders, Zelenskyy announced that a comprehensive program is in development to produce domestic weapons and equipment for Ukraine's defense forces.
The program aims to cover all types of weapons and equipment needed, complete with specific deadlines and quantities.
Zelenskyy stressed that while external aid is crucial, the ultimate goal is for Ukraine to have its own production capabilities. "It's obvious that the primary importance is the country's choice to have its own production," he said.
The Deputy Prime Minister also presented a report during the meeting, focusing on advancements in the field of electronic warfare.
Zelenskyy noted that these innovations are part of the broader program to enhance Ukraine's military capabilities.
