The former Brazilian President, Jair Bolsonaro, also known as Brazil’s Trump, Tuesday admitted to the Brazilian Supreme Court that he tried to overturn the results of the election in 2022, where he lost to Luiz Inacio Lula de Silva.

Discussed possible strategies

According to the media 20minutos, Bolsonaro told the Supreme Court that he and his allies discussed possible strategies, alternatives and options, but always aimed to stay within the rules of the Brazilian constitution.

On trial for attempted coup

After his loss at the 2022-election, Bolsonaro baselessly claimed that the election was rigged.
