In the industrial city of Avdiivka in Eastern Ukraine, Ukrainian forces are putting up a determined resistance against a sudden Russian offensive.
According to n-tv.de the Ukrainian General Staff, 13 Russian attacks near Avdiivka were repelled, along with an additional 10 attacks near the village of Stepowe to the north.
