In the early hours of Friday morning, air raid sirens and fireballs lit up the skies over Tehran.
The world watched as Israel launched one of its boldest military operations in decades, striking deep into the heart of Iran.

Meanwhile, Tehran has steadily expanded its defense network, strengthened regional alliances, and deepened hostilities. The latest attack appears to have shattered a fragile status quo, with both sides now preparing for what may come next.
Targeting Iran’s Military Core
The Iranian state news agency also reported the deaths of several senior commanders and nuclear scientists.
Among them were General Gholam Ali Rashid, head of Iran’s Khatam ol-Anbiya Air Defense Base, and two unnamed nuclear researchers.
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard issued a statement promising harsh retaliation against Israel, which it accused of acting “with the full knowledge of the White House.”
Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei acknowledged the deaths and vowed “a bitter and painful fate” for Israel, calling the attacks a display of the country’s “malicious nature.” Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu defended the strike as a necessary response to Iranian threats and said military operations would continue “as long as needed.”
International Reaction and Fallout
The United States distanced itself from the strike. Secretary of State Marco Rubio emphasized that Washington was not involved and that its primary concern remains the safety of American personnel in the region.
The attacks come just days before a scheduled round of nuclear negotiations between Iran and the U.S., which are now effectively suspended.
As reported by Digi24, civilian casualties have also been confirmed, with residents in northern Tehran killed as Israeli missiles struck residential areas.
